These age ranges are now in-line with USSSA standards. This is a major change that has been planned for 2 years. Please note the changes in eligibility based on birthdate ranges below.
*If SLSA does not receive enough sign-ups to roster a team at any particular age level, refunds will be issued to those families.
*6U and 8U are combined for the fall season.

Fall Season Timing
Mid-late August through the end of October.
Practices
Coaches will reach out in early-mid August to share team information, such as practice days, times, and locations. Practices are typically twice a week (usually weeknights) until games start. Practice schedules are based on head coach availability. If you need your daughter to practice on a specific day/time, you'll need to volunteer.
Practices can take place at any of our home fields:
- Living Memorial Park field VFW1
- Living Memorial Park field VFW2
- Hopewell Park
- St. Joseph's Church
Games
Games start Labor Day weekend. Teams will play up to 12 games by the end of October. Upper levels will attempt double headers on weekends, and most games will be on Saturday and Sunday due to sunlight.
SLSA is part of the Eastern Pennsylvania Girls Softball League (formerly the Lehigh Valley & Parkland Softball Leagues). Away games will be played within our geographic region of the EPGSL. Home games can take place at any of our home fields, listed above.
Uniforms and Equipment
- Jerseys are provided as part of the registration fees
- Optional practice shirts can be purchased during registration

Special Registration/Rostering Requests
- All requests for coaches/teammates MUST be made prior to submitting the registration. Requests made after the registration has been submitted WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
